Septic system records research.
We research septic system records. Most of what exists for a property sits in county health department files, paper permits, scanned as-builts and inspection reports that were never indexed anywhere searchable.
What we do
- Identify which county office holds the records for a given property.
- File public records requests with the custodian of those records.
- Track requests through to a response and collect what is released.
- Organize permits, as-builts, soil logs and inspection reports by parcel.
Who it is for
- Property owners who need the history of a system they inherited.
- Agents and buyers who need to know what is on a parcel before closing.
- Designers and installers who would rather start from the recorded system.
Records requests only. We research and request public records.
We do not design, install, inspect, pump or repair septic systems, and nothing
here is engineering advice. Where a design or an inspection is needed, that work
belongs with a licensed professional in your state.
